Hello, I’m getting breast surgery as the first cosmetic surgery of my life! I haven’t had the surgery yet, but I wanted to share my consultation review, so I’m writing this post.
First of all, I did a lot of online research, and I only visited one place in person! The place I visited was ㄱㄹ Surgery, and I debated a lot about whether to put the initials in the title. That’s because when I see initials or the clinic name in a title, it looks like an ad to me.. Anyway! I hope people getting surgery at the same clinic as me can refer to my post, and I hope they can also refer to the reviews I post after surgery!!! (The clinics I considered were ㅇㅇ, ㄴㅌ, and ㅂ.)
After I arrived, the waiting time was about 10 minutes, and instead of consulting with the director right away, I started with a consultation with the consultant. (For reference, ㄱㄹ does not allow men to enter, and one guardian can accompany you, so I went alone.) Usually, there are really a lot of comments about the consultant in ㄱㄹ reviews! I was secretly curious too, and when I actually met her, she seemed extremely extroverted. Or maybe she seemed relaxed because she has worked there for a long time. But I’m extremely introverted, so it felt a little overwhelming...? haha.... (I don’t mean it in a bad way.)
Anyway, during the consultation, they first took photos of my bare torso! After taking them, we looked at the photos and discussed various things, such as why I wanted surgery, the shape of my breasts, problems, and strengths! What was really helpful in the consultation was that things I hadn’t known about myself, like breast asymmetry?, nipple position, whether I had pectus carinatum, and other things I couldn’t see just by looking in the mirror, became so clear once they were explained to me! After this consultation with the consultant, I had a consultation with the director. As rumored, the director was a bit brusque? Anyway, after measuring my rib cage size, measuring the breast pocket, and so on, we didn’t actually exchange even three lines of conversation....! When I asked questions, he only answered stiffly with things like there is/is not a problem! Honestly, I was nervous, so I didn’t know what to ask ㅜㅜ After the consultation with the director ended, the consultant again randomly placed implants into my bra and showed me how clothes fit! Getting a real sense of the actual size like this was the best part.. And she showed me many cases! Cases similar to mine, cases with a similar size to mine, and so on. I really, really liked this part too!!!
After the consultation, I booked surgery on the same day! Honestly, to my eyes, all clinics looked more or less the same! Given my personality, if there’s a clinic I like, I’d end up having surgery there anyway, so ㄱㄹ was the only place I visited in person. These days, the prices seem similar, and the conditions for aftercare, AS, and so on seem similar too ㅜ (This is what I learned from online research.) So I excluded large hospitals, and after looking at surgery reviews, Glam’s shape looked really natural, so I chose Glam~~ There were also many advantages, such as the director’s experience, CCTV disclosure, hygiene, aftercare, AS guarantee, and so on! Oh, but everyone said ㄱㄹ doesn’t pressure you to write reviews, so I’ll add a bit more! They explained that the surgery fee is discounted if paid in cash, and they also said there would be a discount on the condition of agreeing to disclose before-and-after photos/writing 2 reviews (not exact)! They didn’t emphasize it, and the consultation felt like they were just saying, “Please just keep it in mind~~,” so I liked that! There was no consultation fee, and there was no surgery deposit!
