Before <day 3 swelling> - First, why I decided to get LAMS
After gaining and losing weight repeatedly, I didn't have the confidence to restore the body fat that had accumulated and my wrecked basal metabolic rate. I didn't have the confidence to do it on my own.. not at all!! And since I had been exercising consistently, I was somewhat satisfied with my abdomen and lower body, but my upper arms just would not improve.
It was just firm~ fat. The areas of my body with the firmest fat were the saddlebag area of my thighs and my upper arms.. kill it
I also took PT sessions, but I met a not-so-good PT instructor, so PT classes became scary and my motivation to exercise hit rock bottom.
It may all sound like excuses, but I really needed a major change to break through the lethargy in my life, and I decided to try LAMS. Whether it was LAMS or liposuction, I already knew from hearing it so many times that once you get it done, you have to be extremely diligent with aftercare for the effect to be maximized. I practically lived in this community for almost 3 weeks, and as soon as I became convinced that researching any more would just be a waste of time, I toured branches famous for LAMS and paid for the place I liked the most lol
- LAMS consultation review
-First of all, they were really, really kind. Whenever I went, it felt like I was being treated well.. like I had become a princess, everyone was just kind. -When I said I was debating between liposuction and LAMS, they recommended LAMS. Unless you are extremely severely obese.. they said they recommend LAMS. I knew very well that the side effects are much less, but that it requires the effort of aftercare…! Anyway, during the consultation, they first measured the circumference of my arms, and among the prices measured by size, I ended up getting LAMS in the lowest price range. I also wanted to do LAMS on my back, but they said they did not recommend it and that meso fat-dissolving injections would be enough to reduce it, so they included 2 injection sessions as a service sob sob
Anyway, even though I booked the earliest possible date, the procedure was scheduled for 3 weeks later. During that time, I tried to diet and exercise, but hmm~ because I had this vague expectation that I was getting LAMS, I got a bit lax. Oops.. I was only doing my arms, but I mistook it as if I was doing my whole body,,.
-LAMS procedure review on the day
-On the day of the procedure, there was heavy rain + I took the subway in the opposite direction, so I was 20 minutes late.. -But I had called ahead and told them I thought I would be about 20 minutes late, and they said they would let the procedure team know without saying anything else, and they did not scold me for being late.. wow, I honestly thought plastic surgery clinics were places where you could pay money and still be treated poorly, but here I just thought.. this place is seriously amazing as I arrived in a rush -As soon as I arrived, they explained the precautions before and after the LAMS procedure, weighed me once, and then I moved straight to the operating room. The structure was such that I went up to the second floor by stairs, and the staff at the counter were saying things like, “Have a good procedure”.. I actually looked back while going up the stairs and replied to them too, and I thought I had become Cinderella.. it was just possible to play princess.. -Anyway, when I went to the procedure room, the manager came out and greeted me. She even linked arms with me, checked this and that about my condition, and talked to me a lot. I was very worried + nervous, so I was really gratefulㅠㅠ Then I entered the procedure room, and this was just an operating room. As soon as I went in, I let out a helpless laugh. I laughed like huh huh huh. This is absolutely not just a simple procedure.. there is a reason it is expensive,,, and I had a gut feeling that it would be an operation worth the high price. As soon as I got there, I lay face down and they gave me two injections in my butt, bang bang, and they really did not hurt at all, and they praised me for tolerating it well A big hospital really is good.. I thought, since they must have given so many injections, they can just do it quickly and smoothly.. while I was lying face down, the director came in and designed my arms. Then I lay face down again and waited. The kind manager put an acupressure stick in my hand and then put sock-like gloves over it. It was to prevent contamination, but if I had not had those sock-gloves, I think I would have dropped the acupressure stick at least 5 times. (Because I was sleepy that day and received the procedure in an almost half-asleep state)
Anyway, the procedure started with a whoosh, and they did the right arm first. They made two holes near the shoulder and back. Luckily, since they were only treating the inner side of my arms, they did not make holes near the elbows.
They gave the anesthetic injection and immediately infused the solution,, I felt like they were stirring inside my arm with a very long cannula Oops, this does not hurt, but it feels unpleasant It often felt like that zing! sensation you get when you hit your elbow wrong What I learned during the procedure is that if you only have a lot of fat in your arms, it hurts less.. Honestly, it did not hurt for me, so I was like, ah, I have soft fat lol I am made for LAMS, should I do it again or not, wow~ while getting it done Somehow, once the left arm was finished too, about 2 hours had passed. On the day of the procedure, I had anesthetic injections, so it did not hurt hehe
But now it is day 4, and my right arm hurts so muchㅜㅜ For now I am just watching it, but I am worried! Because I cannot see the inside of my arm with my own eyes.. all I can do is take my antibiotics properly..
It is still super swollen, but even at this point I am so excited to see how much it will change
