Review of consultations at 4 places for facial contouring~
I was thinking about square jaw surgery and wanted to decide on the place that gave the most conservative and safest surgical consultation
1. ㅇㅇㅊ: Non-face-to-face consultation (200,000 won ㄷㄷ), received an approximately 11-minute video 2 weeks after visiting. They told me how my head shape, cheekbones, and jaw size compare with the Korean average. You get a lot out of it only if you ask many specific questions yourself, and if you want the doctor to look at everything on their own, there probably won't be much to gain. Conservative, but also recommends various surgeries(?) It may sound confusing, but regarding the jaw they were somewhat conservative.. (they do not recommend muscle resection or cortical bone resection) Regarding overall harmony, they said because the chin tip is short, it looks wider, so they recommended an implant, cheekbone surgery, and nasal bridge surgery, but said they were optional. I asked how many mm they would resect, and they told me, which was good. Cold but kind.. The consultation fee was so expensive that I felt the money was a bit of a waste..? If you watch YouTube you'll know, but from chubby and above, they tell you to lose weight first, so don't consult ㄴㄴ lose weight first. Some people get offended, but I think they're objectively saying the right thing. The consultant and doctor both seem kind. No pressure to pay a deposit.
2. ㅇㅇㄷ oral and maxillofacial surgery: Consultation fee (30,000 won), said when seen in person, my face itself isn't big but the square jaw is big. Recommended square jaw + cortical bone resection, did not recommend muscle, and said cheekbones are a no if I am not stressed about them. They said there is little bleeding because they don't attach a drainage bag, but I wondered whether not attaching one is good..? The consultant and doctor were both kind. Hospitalization is possible if desired, but in my case same-day discharge is possible. No pressure to pay a deposit. CCTV viewing possible
3. ㅁㅅ oral and maxillofacial surgery: Consultation fee (55,000 won), recommended square jaw + cortical bone resection + deep cheek fat + muscle resection, they recommended the most things related to the jaw, so I didn't want to do it.. There were tons of people, the hospital diffuser? smell seriously gave me a headache, both doctor and consultant were kind, CCTV viewing possible. Hospitalization is one day. The price is cheaper compared with ㅇㅇㄷ
4. ㄴㅅ oral and maxillofacial surgery: No consultation fee, the only place that didn't take CT. So the consultation wasn't specific, and I could feel that the doctor wanted to go home quickly. When I asked what I was curious about, they too easily said I should do square jaw surgery They recommended cortical bone resection but did not recommend muscle resection.
Overall, I paid a deposit and set a surgery date at ㅇㅇㄷ, which was the most conservative. The cost was really, really expensive, but my stance is that if it can be safe, money isn't hugely important.. Since I already burned 300,000-400,000 won just on consultations and transportation… It had stressed me out since elementary school, and I'm finally doing it Square-jawed people, fighting…
