I chose the hospital after doing all kinds of online research and in-person visits before and after. During the consultation, they examined me carefully, were kind, and made a good impression, so I decided on them. On the day of surgery, I briefly explained my desired look, listened to the director’s explanation, had the design done, and then went into surgery. It took much longer than expected, and maybe because I was under sedation for so long, every time I went to the hospital for follow-ups I was so sleepy it felt like hell. At home too, I just slept for a week... My nose was a very difficult nose, and I also had full-face fat grafting done at the same time, so it took a long time. I wanted surgery using autologous costal cartilage, but since we proceeded with the plan that if calcification was present, donated costal cartilage would be used, the surgery ended up being completed with donated costal cartilage rather than autologous costal cartilage. After one week, when they removed the splint, the nasal tip was so high that I was like, huh? But first they drained the blood collected between my brows, then shaped it with taping for another week, so I saw my nose properly at week 2. First of all, the thing I was most concerned about, my deviated septum, was corrected, so I can breathe well. My nostrils also changed from wide, sideways-spread heart-shaped nostrils to an 11-shaped nostril shape!! And I liked most that my protruding mouth also looked improved. I kept worrying that the nasal tip looked high, but now maybe I’m used to it, it looks okay. They say nasal tip swelling takes the longest, so I also feel like I might be disappointed once the swelling goes down and it drops... During the consultation, they also mentioned alar reduction, but after reading reviews saying you really have to be careful with the nostrils, I didn’t do it. Now I’m wondering, should I do it after 6 months? The full-face fat graft looked so natural that I thought it had all been absorbed, but comparing like this, I really had nothing there originallyㅋㅋㅋ I ate so well to help the fat survive that my jawline disappeared. I’m too scared to weigh myself.... The second round of fat is frozen fat, so I’m watching to see whether I should do this again with fresh fat around 6 months later too. I have three kids, and the youngest is almost turning two, so protecting my nose has been so hard. I just want time to pass quickly. For reference, after one week, almost all the pain disappeared for me, and only the back of my thigh where the fat was harvested took about two weeks.
