Everyone, don’t trust photos that look too pretty and doll-like. During my first surgery too, I got bewitched by pretty photos, and if the photo was even a little dark, I hit back, but now I’m the opposite. If the editing looks excessive, or the person looks way too different from me, I immediately go back. Anyway, the law of your original features not changing is real, and everyone knows that getting your nose done doesn’t suddenly make you the world’s prettiest woman...;; If you don’t know that, live in reality.... Look at and use case photos that are as similar to you as possible. Even when we buy clothes from shopping malls, we check height and weight and only look at reviews from people our size... same logic. If someone already had fully formed eyes and nose but got surgery out of personal greed, would that be helpful for someone with a low nose and bulbous nose to reference?? Don’t get greedy, look at things realistically. That way you won’t have to get surgery again ㅜ
I couldn’t do that, so I got it done again lol Before my revision recently, I was looking at reviews of revision rhinoplasty clinics in Gangnam, and as expected, this industry still hasn’t changed at all; there was nothing trustworthy enough to believe as a real review. I was wondering if I should just choose a clinic by instinct and kept looking, then I found the place where I got surgery now, and the photos seemed the least edited lol Honestly, it’s not like there was no editing at all, but it was just to the extent where you could see, “Oh, this was originally this kind of nose?” The postoperative results seemed the most similar too. I was messaging someone who said they had surgery there, and before my surgery, I met them at the clinic, and their nose shape was exactly the same as the photos posted in the review, so I thought, “I guess this is the place to lie down,” and lay down.
And now that two months have passed since surgery, what I can say is: this place is better than places that churn out reviews full of superficial flair.
For reference, I had revision surgery at Finish, and with autologous costal cartilage and silicone, plus short nose and bulbous nose correction, it came out to 6.74 million won.
I noticed from the consultation, but they gathered cases with facial bone structure similar to mine, similar reasons for surgery, etc., and showed me surgical cases, so I could understand how my nose would change. And the director personally Photoshopped and adjusted the postoperative nose shape for me; maybe because he personally adjusted the post-op shape in Photoshop, it felt like the director had some kind of sense of mission.. After talking with people who had surgery there, I heard he also says no if autologous costal cartilage isn’t possible; of course, in my case it was possible..
At the very least, if someone is working on people’s faces, I think it’s right to go to a place that doesn’t play games. I keep using “Instagram girl” as an analogy, but I’m not criticizing them; it’s like, how should I put it, the kind of thing you’d only see on Instagram. There are too many photos that anyone can tell were taken with excessive filters. If it were just a few, I’d understand, but I often see places where every single one is uploaded like that haha What do they think patients are;;; Anyway, this got way too long, but don’t just go somewhere that only has extremely pretty reviews posted. Go to a place that doesn’t play games with reviews or materials. That’s how you protect your own body and increase safety.
