My astigmatism was so severe that my only options were implantable contact lenses or LASEK. I chose LASEK, and they said the director was the head director for vision correction surgery, so I had the surgery with Director Choi (I remember Director Choi probably had the most expensive surgery fee. But later I found out the machine does the surgery on its own, so I don’t think there’s really a need to pay more). After LASEK, it’s a whole new world, my eyes have opened!! It’s definitely not to that extent; it comes out about the same as when I used to wear glasses or contact lenses. Still, it’s very convenient and nice.
