After going to consultations at 3 places because of nose surgery, I realized even more how important it is to shop around in person. The prices varied widely, and everything from the consultation style to the surgical method was different. I first ruled out places where the consultation was mainly done by the consultant, and I think I considered whether the director’s aesthetic sense matched the direction I was pursuing.
