Honestly, I went to the place where I had been getting laser treatments without any information at all about cosmetic procedures..ㅋㅋ Looking into it now, it was a factory-style dermatology clinic.
First of all, I had a retruded chin and a low hump nose, so my protruding mouth was very severe.. At the time, I did not have much money, and ㅇㅂㅈ seemed relatively affordable, so I made a reservation and visited. Thinking about it now, maybe because it was a factory-style(?) dermatology clinic, even with a reservation there was some waiting time, about 20 minutes?
After waiting, I had the consultation first, and the consultant did give me a detailed consultation. She honestly gave me some blunt reality checks too, and the consultation took about 30 minutes, I think!!
First, I had a slight retruded chin and wanted a slim jawline, so I asked for some anterior volume and a slimmer look. For my nose, I only thought it was low, but I also learned the new fact that I had a hump nose.. But they said my nose was on the long side, so if it was raised too much, it could look even longer, so I focused more on improving the hump.
As for how painful filler was.. I do not think I can ever do it again..ㅎㅎ I thought it would be okay with anesthesia, but the anesthetic injection hurt so much, and I had fairly severe anesthesia side effects (cold sweat, nausea, dizziness, etc.). According to the doctor, side effects occur rarely, but they can appear in people who look somewhat pale. I do not know what that means, but I wondered if it just meant unhealthy people. For reference, about a month before getting filler, I was someone who had nutritional imbalance from excessive dieting...
Anyway, in total I got 2 cc in the chin and 1 cc in the nose, German-made filler. They said it spreads less and lasts well, so I chose the German-made one.
From the day of the procedure to about one week, there was slight swelling and bruising (especially severe in the chin). After that, the pain and bruising disappeared. In the early stage after the procedure, it was hard to open my mouth, so I could not eat properly either..
Now it has been about 3 months? The nose seems similar to the day of the procedure, and the chin is currently dissolved, but the last time I saw it, I think about 20% had disappeared.
After getting filler, I heard that it is not permanent and that repeated filler can cause sagging, so I changed direction to surgery. And chin filler, um.. I do not know if this counts as a side effect too, but when it was cold or hot or when I drank alcohol, it turned red, and I felt like it had shifted to one side, so I decided to dissolve it..
Anyway, be sure to think carefully before getting filler. If you have an area you feel insecure about, it can improve it, but side effects or inflammation can also occur!!
