Hello, this is a review of nose surgery for a nose that used to be short, low, and upturned.
First, I am a woman in my early 20s, and after getting my parents' permission, I decided to have surgery. Around last summer, I went up to Seoul and had the surgery, and I am now approaching 6 months post-op.
It was a surgery I had been waiting for a long time, but I really did not have much information, so I was very worried. Since I was living outside Seoul, I received recommendations from people around me and immediately scheduled a consultation and surgery at a hospital in Seoul. The surgical plan was ear cartilage and silicone for the nasal bridge + alar reduction surgery, performed under sedation anesthesia.
Because my original nose was very low, short, and upturned, my satisfaction after the nose surgery has increased a lot, but after the surgery I keep feeling regret, wondering if this was really the best possible result. Every time I look in the mirror, I feel empty seeing myself still not fully satisfied even after having nose surgery...
Right after the stitches were removed, I was more satisfied, but once the swelling went down to some extent, I do not feel that there is that much of a big difference from my original nose. Could you look at the photos and judge objectively and in detail how it looks? ㅠㅠ
I had only been worrying by myself, then found this community, and after making a big decision, I am writing this post. Also, my nose has not developed contracture, right? ㅠㅠ + And after alar reduction, can the nostril wings stretch out again?
Even though I had plastic surgery, I still do not know much, so I am leaving this here...
Revision surgery feels too scary and burdensome, so I am hesitating. What should I do?
