I was young and knew nothing, so I got talked into it by a broker and had my first surgery at a factory-style hospital. The price was twice what other hospitals charged, but as a clueless idiot I thought, "Wow, it must be because they’re that skilled^^!" and went ahead with the surgery. Really, when I look at my past self, I want to punch myself. Anyway, the double eyelid surgery I had at that huge factory hospital full of Chinese patients loosened up after just one year, and five years later I went to a small but skilled clinic and had a revision surgery that I’m satisfied with. Because of this, I now judge procedures and surgeries by avoiding large hospitals first. I also learned that expensive does not mean good. Sigh, what an idiot.
