I’m in my early 30s. I had my first double eyelid surgery in my early 20s, and without knowing much, I just did whatever the hospital told me to do, so I had buried suture double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty.. As a result, my right eye came undone, and I’m not even sure whether the ptosis correction was done properly. I’m reasonably satisfied with the epicanthoplasty, but my eyes themselves are still small, so I also want lateral and lower canthoplasty.

It’s good to go somewhere you hear about through acquaintances by word of mouth, and if that’s difficult, it’s better to search for information everywhere.
1. ㅋㄹㅁ (ㅏㅏㅔㄹ) Personally, the consultation felt a bit rushed? to me. The director held the line for me and checked which line suited me best. They set the line as semi-out. From the standpoint of wanting something natural, I think my opinion on the line didn’t really match the director’s. They said there wasn’t really a need to do canthoplasty. The price range was a bit high. There wasn’t much waiting, but the consultation also ended quickly. Since it was the first hospital, the fact that I couldn’t ask many questions probably played a part too. The director doesn’t excessively recommend everything, but has their own firm style? so I think the effect would be good for someone whose preferences match well.
2. ㅇㅇㅋ (ㅏㅣㅠ) A place where I felt they gave a good consultation. They first slowly listened to what I wanted and then held the line for me. They said my current line is slightly asymmetric, so it is absolutely impossible with a non-incisional method. They recommended making the line by incision, setting it as in-out, and keeping the line as thin as possible. They said if I go a bit higher, it’ll become sausage-like. Lateral and lower canthoplasty can be done as I wanted. But they also recommended revising the epicanthoplasty. The hospital wasn’t as big as I expected, but it’s not like I’m choosing based on hospital size.. But here, the consultation with the consultant was longer than the consultation with the director. I liked that they made the line natural, but if I had surgery like this, I think it would become a bit like an inner double eyelid.
3. ㅇㄹ (ㅗㄹㅗ) This was also a place where I felt the director was kind and gave a good consultation. Even though my first surgery was buried suture, the fixation depth is deep, and like hospital 2 said, the lines are asymmetric, so they said I would need incision to match both lines. This was the first hospital that told me about my habit of how I normally open and close my eyes. Because they explained the surgical method while talking about habits and eye structure, I felt they were extremely meticulous. They said all the canthoplasty procedures I wanted were possible. They said there was no need to redo the epicanthoplasty. If it’s touched again, the scars will only increase. They said the appropriate line would be an in-out line slightly raised so that the tail-end line can be seen from the front. I think the consultation lasted almost.. 25-30 minutes. By this point, I had a lot to ask too; and the director really explained a lot. The consultant also didn’t really pressure me to book, comfortably explained what aftercare they provide, and talked through the surgical method the director had described like a briefing, so it was good for remembering it again.
This is where I’ve gone so far, and I put down a deposit at the last hospital. I still have consultations left at ㅁㅅㄹㅇ and ㄱㅎㅅ, so I’m thinking of deciding on surgery after visiting all of them.
