I had rhinoplasty at Edition on exactly July 2. Since it was revision rhinoplasty, I very carefully booked consultations at 3 places, and the reason I decided to have rhinoplasty was dissatisfaction with the shape. These days, Edition is popular on Instagram Shorts, so I went there for my first consultation. First of all, I liked that there was one director, and without much waiting time, I had a CT scan right away and then a consultation with the consultant (Ju xx). The consultant was kind. Then the consultation with the director was really serious, detailed, and kind, and he explained things well. I showed screenshots of people I liked from Shorts, and the plan came out as nostril lowering, nasolabial angle, cartilage suturing, silicone replacement, and donated costal cartilage. Because of the director's kindness, I immediately paid a deposit, set a date, and left... I want to go back in time... Originally, the nasal packing is removed after 2 days, but my surgery was scheduled for Friday, and after I got home and thought about it, I felt 3 days would be too hard, so I changed the date. On the long-awaited surgery day, as expected, there was no waiting. I took photos, washed my face, and after the consultant explained things, the director came in. Unlike during the first consultation, he immediately designed my nose, talked for about 2 minutes? and left~ I entered the operating room. Among all the hospitals I have been to so far, the operating room staff were the kindest; they were truly, truly extremely kind♡ The director came in and anesthesia started! Surgery ended! While going to the recovery room, I think I kept asking, did my nostrils come down? Yes, they came down~ Did my nose come down? Yes~ I thought it must have turned out really well and was lying there, then woke up from anesthesia and looked in the mirror next to me, and oh my............ One side had become round, while the other side was even higher than before?! I thought to myself, did they only do one side and stop? I told the consultant that one side was too lifted, and she told me to wait a week, so I had no choice but to wait. But from that day on, whenever I looked in the mirror, I cried and did not want to eat. I had even changed the date because I did not want to keep packing in for 3 days, but then they called and said there was a lot of bleeding, so I had to come on day 3. What nonsense. Then I would not have changed it in the first place. Anyway, for 3 days I kept looking in the mirror and getting stressed. On the day I went to remove the packing, it was good that I could breathe. I brought up the uneven nostrils again, and they said swelling can go down differently and that we should look again on the day the splint is removed, so I had no choice but to leave. The splint is usually removed on day 7 too, but because of the director's conference? they said it had to be removed on day 9, so I was very annoyed but held it in... Later I found out it was not a conference, but that he had gone on summer vacation~ Finally I went to remove the splint. That day too I had no appetite, so I ate some water and a few snacks before going, and at the hospital I had also drunk water. As soon as the splint was removed, I held up the mirror and burst into tears. Anyone could see it was extremely uneven. I came with the intention of asking the director for early correction, saying I could not go around with my face like this, and setting a surgery date, but he said he would do the surgery right away. He asked if I had eaten or drunk anything, and even though I told him everything, he said it was simple so sedation anesthesia was possible. So after only 9 days, my nose was opened again..... ha.. After about 30 minutes of surgery, I checked the mirror again. It had come down only slightly, very slightly. Still, since it had been redone, I thought it would get better once the swelling went down. I came out to go home and was sitting in the waiting room when he brought over a nose model and said this and that. I asked the director, is this the best you can do? and he told me not to cry because it was burdensome. Burdensome? Then he should have done it properly in the first place. Why make someone feel mentally ill for 9 days and then say he feels burdened? For now I said I understood and took another week's worth of medicine... That was the nostril incident, and after 2 weeks, one side next to the nasal bridge started to sink in..... I called the consultant thinking this was really one problem after another. Why is this side sunken, is it a side effect? They said no, that for 3 months the tissue tightens, so that can happen. I am now at 6 months, and it is still the same. If this is not a side effect and I did not touch my nose, does that mean the director did the surgery wrong? Also, even with donated costal cartilage, can the nasal tip drop this quickly? It dropped in two months. It was not a small amount of money, and I really thought this would be my last surgery... At first I thought I would endure until 6 months and get aftercare surgery, but as more people who were harmed after surgery here appeared, I gave up on that idea. I have booked consultations elsewhere. If he had done it properly the first time, it would have been over, but he is making many people suffer. I really hope Director H.D.H. sees this post. The director may think, what's the problem, I can just redo it after 6 months? But we are the ones who have to endure the surgery.
