Eye Re-Surgery@eye-redo

I had double eyelid surgery, but I open my eyes with my eyebrows, so I'm thinking about revision

Usually people get double eyelid surgery because they open their eyes with their eyebrows lol But after my double eyelid surgery, I feel like only my right eye opens using eyebrow strengthㅜ If I spend long hours like that in a day, my eyebrow basically gets such a workout that it loses strength.. To explain how bad it is, even when the sunlight isn’t directly hitting me and just shines a little, I have to open my eyes while using a lot of eyebrow strength, and then I end up frowning so much. People see my expression as bad ㅜㅜ The funny thing is, was I like this even before double eyelid surgery? My memory is hazy, but I don’t think I worried about this back then. It’s been 10 years, so idk if it’s because of the double eyelid surgery, but I’m thinking about revision,,

Reasons I’m considering revision 1. Only my right eye opens with eyebrow strength, so I end up frowning ㅜㅜ 2. Honestly, I had it done 10 years ago and I did ask for a thick line, but I didn’t know it would be this thick. Is it swelling..? I waited like that for 10 years lol confirmed sausage eyelids

Honestly, I knew they were sausage eyelids from around year 3, but I was a student then too and just kind of let time pass, and now it’s been 10 years ..How foolish that I’m only thinking about revision surgery now..

What I want to ask first is 1. Could someone like me have ended up with sausage eyelids because the first double eyelid line was too high, causing eyebrow strength to come into play?

2. Anyway, whatever the reason, do I definitely need to include ptosis correction in the revision?

3. Would the results be very different between ptosis correction + non-incisional buried suture and just non-incisional buried suture.. If they’re different, how are they different..

I haven’t thought about ptosis correction until now .. If I have to do it, I’m worriedㅠ First of all, I’m absolutely against incision. I want to do the revision with the non-incisional buried suture method ㅠ But I’m scared that if I do ptosis correction, unlike just buried suture, it might come out with a strongly pinched feeling like an incisionㅜ I absolutely hate that.. I don’t know much, so please tell me what’s different on the outside and inside between doing ptosis correction and not doing it..

For reference, my first surgery was buried suture + epicanthoplasty (very little; I was scared back then, so I asked them to do just a tiny amount so it wouldn’t show at all)

Currently, the buried suture has lasted 10 years. But the right side is thicker, and the side I open with eyebrow strength is also the right side. And the right side looks sleepyㅠ In my view, both sides are sausage eyelids (the line was set thick from the start) ㅠ It came out thicker than I expected, and the swelling lasted ridiculously long. I don’t remember at all what the early double eyelid surgery result was like, just that it was very swollen and thick .. I don’t even remember if they were uneven As of now, left thickness < right thickness (looks sleepy, uses eyebrow strength) ㅜㅜ

For the revision plan, I really hate the sausage eyelids now, so of course I want to lower the line to something completely natural or naturally glamorous, and I’m looking at a semi-out line. The space between my eyebrows and eyes is still roomy even though I had double eyelid surgery? Something like that. My eyes are slightly protruding, and I have an average amount of fat! I was told fat removal wasn’t needed (10 years ago..)

In a case like mine, do I need ptosis correction? If I lower the double eyelid line .. would it be okay? I’m wondering if it’s because of the sausage eyelidsㅠㅠ I want to avoid ptosis correction as much as possible, I’m worried about all sorts of thingsㅠ
