It seems like my eyes didn’t really need an inner corner canthoplasty, but when I consulted about double eyelid surgery, they said it would look prettier if I did it together, so I ended up doing it when I was 28. Fortunately, there was no visible lacrimal caruncle exposure or anything like that. But the scar from the inner corner surgery, which at first wasn’t bothersome at all, now that I’m in my 30s and my skin elasticity has dropped and collagen has probably decreased, feels like the stitch marks show more than before. The left side isn’t visible in photos, but the inner corner area has also become white and kind of smooth? I hide it with shadow, but every time I look in the mirror it stresses me out. Even if you’re advised to get an inner corner procedure when consulting about the eyes, if you’re hesitating about whether to do it or not, don’t do it. You’ll regret it later. Of course, if it’s a case that truly needs it, then you should do it, but I hope you make the decision more carefully.
