It is not that I never went for consultations before. My skin is naturally tough, and after hearing that my upturned nose could rise again, I think I lived in near-surrender. Then, while searching reviews, I heard there was a place that could show the expected surgical result in advance. I went for a consultation out of curiosity, became more convinced with each consultation, and eventually had surgery after deliberating for a month. My procedures: nostril reduction, columella lowering, and nasolabial angle correction. Rather than simply increasing the height, I reduced nostril show (I do not recommend making them completely invisible because it makes the nose look large) and corrected the columella position. The result seems to have come out almost better than I expected—or maybe my expectations were extremely low..? I thought there would be a limit to how much my severely upturned nose could be lowered, but they said it would be good for improving the front view, and just as the consultant said, it seems to have come down neatly. To be completely honest, I think the actual result is even better than what I saw in advance... I am not exaggerating the clinic; perhaps because my nose was not an easy case, but the preview photos did not come out very well. I trusted the progress photos and the consultant's nose report and went ahead with it (the consultant had surgery with the surgeon assigned to me), but I think mine looks better than those photos. Or does the design differ depending on the day's condition? Anyway, that is how it felt to me... It was slightly less impressive than the real thing. As for major events over the year, not really... Other than getting an injection once because my nose swelled, it has been fine since then. The design was not extremely glamorous to begin with, and nothing has changed yet. It seems only pretty people post here, so I was a little afraid to upload mine, but I hope many people look at my review and find it useful. (If I get embarrassed, I can take it down quickly.. lol)
