When I first had the surgery, I searched a ton on YouTube. They said you recover in two days. This and that... In conclusion, it wasn’t much different from regular LASEK... It took more than 5 days to recover. From what I remember, I scheduled the surgery around a holiday, but my eyes were so uncomfortable because of a foreign-body sensation? that I took more annual leave and rested... That part annoyed me a bit because one reason I chose it was that they said recovery only takes two days... And they told me during the consultation that glare/halos would happen, so I was prepared, but at first the glare/halos were so severe that I was like, wow, I was shocked... Now, depending on my eye condition, sometimes the glare/halos are bad and sometimes they aren’t... That’s how it is. After the surgery, when I went back a few times for vision tests, my vision came out around 1.0, and on one of the visits, you know that thing where you see something like a fly in your eye? I had that, but they said it would get better with time, so I left it alone, and it hasn’t improved since. Honestly, the hospital is too far and it’s a hassle, so I’m just living with it. And now I think my vision has gotten a bit worse. I haven’t measured it, but I can’t see as well as before. My vision often looks blurry... I remember they said they shaved the cornea so I could have surgery one more time, with the remaining cornea... If SMILE LASIK is possible, I think I’d do SMILE LASIK... My younger sibling just got SMILE LASIK nearby in Incheon, and it didn’t hurt and they see well... lol I’m jealous haha Looking back now, I don’t think I’d recommend it to anyone. Oh, I don’t have dry eye! I don’t know the price because my mom paid for it as a gift back then.
