I had incisional double eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty about 20 years ago when I was in high school. At the time, ㅁㅇㅁ was cheap, natural-looking, and popular, but I wanted an out-line crease, so even though 1.6 million won was quite expensive then, I chose ㅅㅅㄱ. Even when I was in college and later working, people usually didn't notice unless I told them first. But I was dissatisfied because one eye had a sausage-like bulge near the inner corner + the line at the outer corner got buried. (It was like this right after surgery too, so I had revision surgery, but it happened again.) So I just lived with it, and now that I'm in my late 30s, I'm considering revision surgery. I regret the epicanthoplasty because it made my eyes look sharp. If I could turn it back, I'd restore it, and I'd like to improve my impression with lower canthoplasty. Still, I didn't have to use double eyelid tape and could focus on studying in my senior year of high school, so I had no regrets. Also, don't use double eyelid tape for too long.. As you get older, sagging eyelid skin and the tiny lines you tried so hard to make back then show up as wrinkles.
