I had revision surgery for incisional double eyelids and eye shape correction here on Friday, January 13, 2017. I remember it clearly because it was Friday the 13th ㅠ I had incisional double eyelid surgery and eye shape correction at a local clinic, but one side became completely bent, so I had only the right side revised at that first clinic. But it came undone after a month, so I left it alone for 6 months. After 6 months, a friend told me this large hospital near Gangnam Station, ㅇㅈ Plastic Surgery, was famous, so I went for a consultation, paid the deposit right away, and had surgeryㅠㅠ I was young then, so I didn’t even know what shopping around for consultations was ㅠㅠ Of course, before the stitches were first removed and until about a month after stitch removal, people around me said that once the swelling went down it would look really good and that it had gone well. But seriously, even after 6 months, 1 year, and 2 years, the swelling stayed exactly the same as it was at 6 months ㅠㅠ So when it had been 2 years, I went back to the hospital, and the director said it was because it was revision surgery, so the swelling was lasting a long time and would go down. He said to the nurse next to him, ‘Look, it’s swelling, right? It looks fine to me? What’s supposed to be the problem? Wait a little longer,’ so I believed that and waited another year. Even after 3 years, my eyes were still in the same swollen state as they were at 6 months. When I contacted that hospital again, lol, they said he had recently quit and was no longer there ㅋ ㅋ They said they would connect me with a director who is good at revision surgery, but whenever I tried to schedule a consultation, they said that time wouldn’t work. Then when I made an appointment for a day they said was available, the day before they would say, ‘Oh, I guess our staff thought consultations, not just surgeries, were available on holidays and booked you then,’ always changing their story. It was so annoying that I’m just going to have revision surgery at another hospital. Recently, when I went for a revision consultation, they said the line being set too high during the eye surgery was also a problem, but during surgery they had incised only a specific area of the eye too forcefully, so the scarring is severe and the eye is uneven ㅠㅠ I’m honestly so upset. I paid 4 million won for this ㅠㅠ I really think the size of the hospital means nothing.
