Swelling was the worst up to day 4 after surgery, and because of the epicanthoplasty, even when I had tears or eye discharge, I couldn't wipe it away properly, so that was the hardest part. Was it around day 3? Blood suddenly started flowing from the suture area, so I panicked, but I gently removed the blood scab with ointment on a cotton swab, and there was no problem. After getting the stitches removed, the swelling definitely went down. In the beginning, when the swelling was severe, it looked really sausage-like and funny, but maybe because the line wasn't set high to begin with, now at week 3 I can go outside without wearing a hat!!
