1-Year Review After 3 Types of Facial Contouringㅠ! *Long post, lots of photos warning

Before<Before surgery>Before<Before surgery><Day of surgery><Day 3 after surgery><Day 8 after surgery>After<Day 28 after surgery>After<Day 91 after surgery>After<Day 211 after surgery>After<Day 318 after surgery (recent)>It’s almost been 1 year now since I had the 3 types of facial contouring done..! When I got facial contouring surgery, I didn’t know about this community, so I just went around consulting at hospitals that advertised a lot...ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I recently joined this community and have been getting a lot of information about breast surgery, so I’ll write this to share information too!

First of all, my bumpy cheekbones and square jaw were so, so, so, so stressful for meㅠ When I first learned about facial contouring surgery in high school, I decided, “Once I become a college student, I’m definitely getting facial contouring!” So I waited to become a college student and worked hard at part-time jobs tooㅜㅠ... You can tell from the photosㅠㅠ How severe my cheekbones and square jaw were... Honestly, it stressed me out so much that if I had to live like that, I wanted to live prettily even if it meant accepting side effects or risks.

Of course, my parents opposed it really strongly tooㅜㅠ There were a lot of kids around me who got double eyelid surgery when graduating, but my first surgery was facial contouring... After a huge amount of persuasion, I ended up getting facial contouring surgery, but when it really came time to do it, I was scared. I think I went to about 5 hospitals in Gangnam/Apgujeong that were famous for facial contouring. One of them was my favorite, so I scheduled the surgery date and had the preoperative tests done too. Since it’s a major surgery, I think they were very thorough with drawing blood, doing an electrocardiogram, and various other preoperative tests.

These are photos right after surgery. I honestly thought it would hurt reeeeeally badly. But because there was a pain-control injection, it wasn’t painful enough to feel like I was dying. I think the happiness of no longer having to feel the stress I had lived with because of my cheekbones was greater than the pain after surgery. It was so uncomfortable with the bandage on, the blood drain attached, and my face swollen stiff... Honestly, I had no appetite either... swallowing was hard... and I kept tasting blood... I was hospitalized on the day of surgery!

These are photos from day 3 when I went to the hospital for dressing. I had less bruising than I expected! So fascinating..! For swelling care, I often took Dangguixu San and Elas A (so expensive I cried...), and from one week after surgery, I made sure to walk for an hour every day. Up to the day 8 photos, I really looked like a hamster, rightㅋㅋㅋㅋ My friends said I looked like Hamtori with my cheeks stuffed full of foodㅋㅋㅋㅋ Until 1 week after surgery, I ate things like porridge, yogurt, ice cream, smoothies, and cream soup, and in week 2 I also ate risotto (highly recommend this) and things like that. Once the stitches were removed, the swelling definitely went down faster. I also kept consistently getting radiofrequency care.

Day 28. My facial jawline changed a lot, right! The major swelling was going down, but I was still swollen. I still couldn’t eat tough foods and couldn’t open my mouth wide, but I think I ate most foods!

Month 3! By then, a lot~ of the swelling had gone down, so people meeting me for the first time didn’t know I’d had facial contouring surgery! People I hadn’t seen in a long time also often said things like, “Why did you get so pretty?” “You lost weight.”>< My side profile looks much more refined too, right? When I had surgery, I didn’t ask the director to shave off my square jaw completely. The director also said that if too much is removed, it can look like an over-resected jaw and won’t be pretty. So I think mine looks more natural. I don’t think you become pretty just by removing the square jaw completely; I think the surgery should be done so it suits the harmony of your own face.

Around 200 days after surgery! Selfies definitely come out so well... Even when editing, I may touch up my eyes and nose, but I don’t touch the facial contour.

Recent photos! Now all the minor swelling is gone, and the sensation under my chin has fully returned! There are no foods I can’t eat at all. I said at first that my parents opposed it a lot, rightㅋㅋ These days, even my parents say I did well to get itㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ They say my personality became much brighter tooㅋㅋㅋ I feel it too, that I became much brighter after surgery! Before surgery, I was so conscious of my cheekbones and square jaw that I was busy covering my face with my hair and couldn’t really look at people’s faces, but these days I smile a lot and tie my hair up tooㅋㅋ

The advice I want to give people considering facial contouring surgery is very basic: follow the things your doctor tells you to follow! I had facial contouring as soon as I had just become an adult, so I wanted to try drinking and smoking, but I held back. And I took a lot of walks and drank a lot of water!

I hope my review helps many people who are thinking about facial contouring surgery! I’ll answer anything you’re curious about within what I know!

Next time... I really want to post a breast surgery review too haha
