I went to Glam/WooA, and I’ll write this as I remember it, rambling in a stream of consciousness.. For reference, I haven’t decided on a clinic yet, and please understand as you read that I liked both places
WooA (consultation with the head director) 1. It’s not breast-specialized!, but it’s more famous for breasts and does seem to do a lot of breast surgeries. Still, when I was waiting, it wasn’t only breast patients there 2. The director briefly checks an ultrasound before the consultation, but it’s not like they set out to examine it at length; they just take a quick look as a small extra. If there’s a difference from other clinics, I guess this is one 3. CCTV viewing is available, and they seem to take good care of aftercare too, but they said scar care starts at the 6-month mark through collaboration with dermatology. Until then, it seems like you just manage it individually and they add it if needed, but I’m slightly worried it may start too late 4. Lifetime AS 5. Hospitalization available 6. They lend a compression bra. They said people usually wear it for 3-5 weeks. 7. The consultant didn’t pressure me to book and gave a comfortable consultation. Not overly kind, and not unfriendly either. 8. There are review discount conditions, and I won’t reveal the details, but I was surprised because you have to write much more than I expected.
Glam (single-doctor clinic) 1. It’s a breast-specialized clinic. The doctor is a breast surgery specialist, and there weren’t that many people waiting in the lobby; there were some people who came for follow-up? and it wasn’t that crowded 2. The consultant personally took photos and checked the fitting, and she led everything so skillfully that I thought she must have a lot of experience. She said herself that she’d been there since Glam opened. Seems like over 10 years. She also said she had surgery herself from the director and readily told me I could touch them, so it was embarrassing, but I saw the actual shape with my eyes and touched them too,, The feel was insane. I wondered who would think these were surgically augmented breasts 3. Full CCTV viewing is available, and they said aftercare is 1 year of care + unlimited care. They said some people come for follow-ups even years after surgery, and those people also receive care when they come. While waiting, they emphasized that care is done while sitting in a massage chair 4. Lifetime AS 5. Hospitalization available (they said the food is really good) 6. They said whether you wear an upper band or compression bra, and for how long, differs by person. Instead, you leave with a bra they custom-make directly, so it feels better than other ready-made products and has functions that help gather cleavage? They said it has been improved in that way and works well. 7. The consultant didn’t pressure me to book; rather, she told me not to book in a hurry. She said to look around more elsewhere, decide really, really carefully, and think a lot before doing it. She said she stays almost like family with people who had surgery there, and I think I know what she means. Even though I only went for one consultation, I felt like she took very attentive care of me. 8. There were no review discount conditions. Fixed price. Once there weren’t any, it felt clean, but also a little disappointing..
The diagnosis differs depending on each person’s body and budget, so I left it out because writing it would make the post too long, but if anyone is curious, I’ll tell you separately in the comments~!! Feel free to ask. I was satisfied with both clinics’ consultation styles, and since their characteristics were different, I actually liked that. After I go to the remaining consultations, I’ll leave another post too.. To be continued........ They say it’ll get super!! cold from tomorrow, so everyone going to consultations, make sure to bundle upㅠㅠ Don’t dress thinly just because you’re wearing something easy to take offㅠ
