Double-eyelid surgery review

Honestly, even before double-eyelid surgery, I had double eyelids that looked like inner double eyelids to outer double eyelids, and I lived hearing that I was pretty. When I said I was getting double-eyelid surgery, all my friends tried to stop me. But I just wanted eyes that looked a bit more defined and wanted them to be bigger, so I suddenly started looking into it and, honestly, went in way too cluelessly.. I just saw an app and went, only had a consultation there, and made a same-day reservation lol. Don’t do it like me.. My friends said the line would come down later, so I should set it a bit high, so I got a high in-out line. At first, it felt like the swelling wasn’t going down at all, and honestly up until around 8-9 months to 1 year, I sometimes regretted it, thinking I should have set it lower. But now I’ve gotten used to it, and now my friends say I look better after double-eyelid surgery lol. There are still people who say otherwise, though.. But be really careful with medial epicanthoplasty. I was told I had to do it together because of my epicanthal folds, so I did it, but the upper canthoplasty had a white scar until about 1 year, and the medial epicanthoplasty left a slightly raised scar under my eye. It’s not extremely noticeable, so I just live with it, but because of this, I was extremely stressed for 6 months and even looked for a hospital specializing in scars. The hospital did provide scar-tissue injections and laser care. I hope everyone has successful double-eyelid surgery~
