Before <side view before nose surgery> Before <front view before nose surgery> After <side view after nose surgery> After <front view after nose surgery> I spent two days that felt like madness with nasal packing in, and after it was removed, I felt relieved for 30 seconds, then it got completely blocked againㅠㅠ Blood had pooled, so they drew it out with a syringe.. When I heard that if it got infected, everything might have to be removed, I spent my days desperately praying, going one day to the hospital where I had surgery and another day to a local ENT clinic to get dressings. Finally, yesterday on day 6, I had the columella stitches removed and the splint taken off. Usually people say they’re dissatisfied because they’re too swollen, but I was so satisfied!!! I even felt sad thinking it might go down moreㅠㅠ
The director kept having a serious expression, so I asked, “What’s wrong...?” and he said he wasn’t completely satisfied. He said he remembered because my skin doesn’t stretch well, and that I had wanted a high, dramatic nose even if it looked a bit obvious, but by his standards it seemed a little off, so he felt disappointed..
When I read reviews, other people lost their double eyelids, had purple bruising and things like that, but I just have a little yellow bruise on the bridge of my nose, and there’s barely any major swelling, so I’m satisfied.
Of course people say it varies by person and case, but because he was meticulous, I think maybe that’s why I didn’t bruise much and it ended up like thisㅎㅎ
The director himself also seems like the type who has ambition for the final result!! During the consultation, honestly, when I said I wanted it too high, he said, “That would be an Avatar nose?” So I thought, ah... he says things in such an unpleasant way... and I kept it in mind a bit. But on the day of surgery, I was nervous and my hands were shaking, and he smiled, said it would go well, patted my back and leftㅎㅎ He’s kind of tsundere..
Even now, because I had blood pooling, he said he was worried, so every two days I go in and he does a dressing and checks the progress. It’s delicacy within seeming indifference, so I’m touched..
Ah! For me, the nasal bridge was 6 mm silicone / nasal tip was ear cartilage / columella used silicone and artificial cartilage!! I had a slightly upturned nose, so it was corrected, and they said the nasal tip will come down as the swelling goes downㅎㅎ
Since the columella was built up, I didn’t specifically do alar reduction, but my alar area also feels somewhat tightened, and I’m satisfied with the nasal bridge line too. How does it look to everyone? I know it’s all personal preference, but I wondered how it looks to other people!!
They say for nose surgery, researching online, visiting clinics, and choosing the director are important. I didn’t have much information and just booked at the first consultation hospital, so I was secretly very worried, but I’m relieved that I’m satisfied!!
I hope everyone’s surgery is successful too!!
