Hello!! It has been 3 years since I had double eyelid surgery. I’ll write a detailed review according to 1 year, 2 years, and 3 years after the procedure~ At the time I had the surgery, I was still young, so the doctor recommended doing the double eyelid surgery with the buried-suture method. For the canthoplasty, they recommended waiting until adulthood. For that reason, I had buried-suture double eyelid surgery. At first, I thought it turned out well with the thickness I wanted, but even after a year the swelling did not go down and it looked like sausage eyelids. I did think about revision surgery, but for various reasons I couldn’t, and time passed. After about 2 years, it became natural-looking. But my eyes look sleepy, and my pupils seem to be covered by my eyelids. I think that’s because I should have had ptosis correction too, but didn’tㅠㅠ I’m thinking about revision surgery, but I’m not mentally prepared yet.. I think not getting the canthoplasty was a good choice! My eyes are set close together, so I think it would have looked even stranger if I had done it.
