I went in, paid, changed clothes, washed my face, and gargled (they had me gargle with something like saline, so it tasted awful..). I sat in the recovery room for a bit, then went into the operating room. They spent about 30-40 minutes on the design, then told me to lie down and just put in the anesthetic. I was out in 2 seconds. When I opened my eyes, it felt like I had become a sunflower? I kept my eyes closed like that, and the doctor came in and performed the surgery. At first, there was a smell like grilled squid. I think it was probably the ptosis correction. Then they were doing a lot with thread, and maybe the anesthesia hadn't taken well at the outer corner of my right eye, because it hurt a bit. At the end, they incised and sutured the epicanthoplasty and upper canthoplasty areas. Hmm.. I had been lying in the same position for too long, so my lower back hurt. They had said I might feel dizzy and nauseous because of the sedation anesthesia, but I didn't have any of that. Because of my bus/train time, I only did an ice compress for 10 minutes and went home. When the cold winter wind hit me, my eyes stung and tears kept coming out.. As soon as I got home, I did an ice compress and went straight to sleep (it was 10 o'clock when I got home..)
