Even until the end of November, starting with where I should get it done and whether revision surgery was even the right choice, those worries kept floating around in my head and tormenting me. But once I decided on a hospital, closed my eyes, and made up my mind, time passed so quickly.. I was shocked to see that it's already almost been a month since the revision surgery. I kept thinking, when did this much time pass..
I had it done at GR, which I had been considering and even went back for a second consultation, and because I had worried so much, I don't think I have any regrets. I'm so satisfied with the aftercare, which I thought was the best part, and the communication with the consultant. Every time I went to the clinic, I never once felt like I was being pushed aside, and I always felt like they were paying attention to me and taking care of me.. As someone who had become very sensitive while looking into revision surgery, I think it became the trigger that completely healed my mental breakdown
Before surgery, I had a lot of nightmares and felt unsettled. But now I sleep very comfortably without any of that, I just have black dreams, and my mental health has become really good. I guess it was because I had too many worries. The reason I had revision surgery wasn't anything else; it was because I personally wasn't satisfied with my breasts. The first place where I had surgery recommended a very small size to me, saying it suited my image..;; The doctor insisted on it, so I was diagnosed and had surgery with that size, and in the end I was not satisfied at all.. Not even for a single moment did I feel I really liked them or felt happy, and I couldn't understand why breast surgery was supposedly the No. 1 surgery in satisfaction
Then I had revision surgery after 4 years, and now I'm really, really happy~~!!!! I think I understand why breasts have the highest satisfaction among cosmetic surgeries, and after the surgery, as soon as the bandages were removed and I saw my breasts, yes, the size had been increased, but more than that, the shape was so much prettier than before (back then, the upper fullness hadn't settled down at all, so there was also that thing where it looked like pecs, but that was completely corrected. It was fascinating), so I screamed inside.. Recovery was quick too. Really, after I first got breast implants, it was so hard even to open a water bottle with my arms, and opening a LocknLock side-dish container was hard too, but after the revision surgery, it wasn't that hard, and I did most household chores by myself, zipped my pants up and down smoothly.. Even getting up from lying down wasn't hard at all. It was really fascinating..ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
I increased by about 100, from 200 to 300, but the perceived size difference is pretty big. Maybe because it went into both sides. Also, my inframammary folds on the left and right did not match, so the director also lengthened the fold line for me, and maybe because of that, the symmetry is good now, and the shape itself is settling into a natural downward-falling shape, so I really like it
They say after revision surgery, it doesn't even take 6 months for the shape to settle, and in 2~3 months you can roughly see how it will turn out. Even at 1 month, if it's already this good, I wonder how satisfied I'll be as each month passes, and the texture seems to be softening and loosening well enough, so I'm going to trust the process and wait! I was hoping this year would be full of only really good things, and I feel even more proud and happy because it seems like the first step has gone this well. I wonder if there could be any greater blessing than this.. Since these are breasts I gained so preciously, I want to take care of my body and maintain them well
Thinking there will be no other revision surgery in my life lol, I'm going to keep up with aftercare and work hard on scar care again~~
