December 2019 I had my first surgery with Director Choi Hang-seok at Premier, which was hot at the time
I had done quite a lot of legwork and online research too, and I was going to do it at a hospital that quoted 5.5 million won for the first surgery, but because of the cost, I decided on Premier
The hospitals I remember consulting at then were By June, Olive, Mint, Naturalism, The Nan, Wonjin, etc.
There was even a hospital where I paid a deposit, thinking I’d lose 50,000 won, to hold the discounted surgery price
I had pretty much half-decided on a hospital, but when I looked at the app, Premier’s before-and-after photos were exactly the shape I wanted.
. When I went for the consultation, I think Premier had 2-3 directors at that time, and it was so crowded and thriving that there were people standing and waiting because there weren’t even seats in the hospital
So I thought, it’s really popular -> it must be a good hospital -> I’ll do it here too and just decided like that

For the first surgery, it’s easy to do it when you don’t really know what you’re lacking, what needs to be supplemented, or what you want (Yes, that’s my story)
I focused on whether the director’s aesthetic standard (after) matched mine when deciding. It’s important to understand your own current condition well too** (At Mint, they did tell me that the nasal tip wouldn’t come out as high as I wanted. But you only think of things like that after time passes; at the time, I didn’t hear it... + I think the results can vary extremely depending on the doctor’s skill and judgment)
Of course, having it done is better than not having it done, but because my own conditions weren’t good, I can feel the nasal tip gradually drooping.
So I’m looking into revision surgery
Before choosing another hospital, I did go back to the hospital where I had it done for another consultation. Even if I got revision surgery, considering the limits of how much my skin can stretch, the size of my nose, and everything, they actually suggested lowering the glabella area and raising the nasal tip only very slightly, about 1 mm.
The revision surgery cost was in the 4 million won range. (Reusing the existing donated costal cartilage) I think I went for the revision consultation around November,
and last month I got a text saying Premier’s Director Choi Hang-seok had moved to another hospital.
Even when the same director did it at the same hospital, my friend’s result and mine were different.
Is plastic surgery really subject to the law that your original base doesn’t change after all? It feels bitter...
I’m now going to consultations at other hospitals here and there again, and hospitals doing revision surgery with autologous costal cartilage start from 10 million won
