Before-before <my bulbous nose days.. lol> After-after <successfully escaped the bulbous nose> For a bulbous nose.. I honestly felt like there was no real answer unless I got surgery ㅜ I was going to try a nose thread lift and filler, but it wasn’t like my nose was simply low; to fix the blunt, rounded nasal tip, surgery definitely seemed like the sure option, yeah.. And I’m kind of obsessive about my midface.. since the gaze kept going to my thick nasal tip, my midface looked insanely long ..sob.. I figured a nose like mine would keep stressing me out until I got surgery, so I started looking into it
- Things I considered important when looking for a clinic. Whether they had many reviews for bulbous nose improvement, whether the director had long experience (I seriously wanted to find the place with the longest experience...) + whether they were good at refined yet natural-looking noses.. That “refined-natural” feeling really comes down to a tiny difference, and if it goes slightly wrong, it can look too pointy, you know? Or otherwise, you can get surgery and have no change at all lol There are clinics that feel like you’re just throwing money on the ground.. So I considered this really important
- Why I chose the clinic This is something you’d know if you’ve had even a little experience with surgery/procedures or even gone around for consultations! A place with no unnecessary pressure, yeah...!! If I felt like they were overtreating, I think I just ruled them all out. Like I went in wanting A, but they recommended some absurd B instead... things like that. And when I told the director my concerns about my nose, I was more drawn to Director S.G., who explained the surgical plan from A to Z, rather than just giving a fragmentary explanation like, “That can just be done this way~”.. I also liked that he spoke realistically and honestly, yeah
- Satisfaction after surgery At first, I thought my nostril wing area was on the plump side, so I asked if I also needed alar reduction. But he said I didn’t need alar reduction and that it wasn’t necessary I did trust him and get the surgery, but still, in one corner of my mind I worried a lot, like, what if my bulbous nose doesn’t get fixed? lol But even though I only had osteotomy and septal cartilage, it became really slim. Experiencing my features becoming more defined just because one nose changed was honestly surprising.. lol The three-dimensional look.. improved by leaps and bounds.. (My mom was the most surprised.)
