1-month review after total nasal implant/material removal (silicone, capsule, ear cartilage, cartilage repositioning)
I had nose surgery (silicone, ear cartilage) at a regional hospital,
but cartilage slightly protruded next to the columella,
my nasal tip was always hard, blood vessels were visible on the nasal bridge, there was silicone show-through,
and I don’t know if it was because of the silicone, but my nasal skin became more sensitive, so hive-like bumps
would appear occasionally. Before removal, I had a severe foreign-body sensation, sensitive nasal skin, and frequent swelling,
and I often felt pulling toward the philtrum with severe pain,
but after my nose surgery, I had everything removed at Chamin, and it definitely improved.
I originally have a hump nose, and because of swelling, it does look like I have a nasal bridge,
but I hope it doesn’t settle down any more from here..
Other than occasional tingling,
I’m going about daily life normally. I’m so glad because I feel at ease!
