I had consultations, but opinions are split between excision vs. the two-line method. What should I do?

I went around for consultations for revision surgery to lower my double eyelid line.

Because there’s no extra skin, even 1 mm cannot be excised. Recommended the two-line method -> 3 places

Since the line will only be lowered slightly, the amount of excision would not be large. Excision possible -> 2 places

That’s how the diagnoses came out. What should I do? I’m not an expert, so I don’t know.

For reference, all 5 doctors have experience. But since their opinions are split like this, I’m really conflictedㅠㅠ

[@재수성공뽜이야] Exactly... Even knowing that, I still can’t decide.... With the two-line technique, re-adhesion of the existing line, multiple creases, and scarring are basically inevitable, and with excision there’s lagophthalmos and mesh-like scarring... Both have such big risks...

[@호듀마루] The hospitals that recommended excision said, ‘Your eyes aren’t at the point of needing the two-line technique,’ so I think that’s making the decision even more confusing. The nuance was like, the two-line technique is really an unavoidable option that should only be considered as a last resort <- so I was really torn... But excision is hard to reverseㅠㅠㅠㅠ Anyway, thanks for answering!

If there’s a place saying excision is possible, I’d go with excisionㅠㅠ I’m scared of scarring from the two-line technique
