Among them, the doctors’ opinions about LASEK and LASIK were all different,
but since I had enough time, I chose LASEK.
I chose a place that removed the least amount of tissue and where the doctor had a lot of experience, and had the surgery there.
As a result, currently my vision isn’t as sharp as when I wore glasses, but since my original prescription was about -4, I’m satisfied.
Also, there is no glare or halos. Dry eyes occur when I don’t manage my meibomian glands, so if I manage them, there’s no problem.

and they claim that people who wore contact lenses need to stop wearing lenses for at least 3 months for the eyeball to return to its original shape.
This was especially why I chose this hospital, and in fact, by the 3rd month, the shape was different compared with the 1st month.
And after surgery, I didn’t have much pain, but for about 2 weeks, the ointment put into my eyes made my vision cloudy, so daily life was inconvenient.
It’s true for all surgeries, but with eye surgery... especially for high myopia, I think it’s best to thoroughly research ophthalmology clinics before having surgery.
