I had been stressed for a long time because of my wide lateral cheekbones, developed square jaw behind the ears, and blunt chin tip (receding chin). After deciding I should get facial contouring, I think I spent 2 years researching online and going to consultations. My criteria for choosing a hospital were that it had to be safe no matter what (no nerve damage or medical accidents, and avoiding hospitals that do multiple surgeries a day like a large factory), that it could reduce my biggest concern, the lateral cheekbones, as much as possible, and that it would not only be overly natural but would also listen to the patient’s needs to some extent! I was able to choose the hospital that best matched my criteria, and both the consultant and director listened well throughout the consultation and postoperative care process and were consistently kind! haha Because I had been stressed for such a long time and wanted to get the surgery quickly, I was hardly nervous on the day of surgery... After the surgery ended, I originally don’t tolerate alcohol or medications? well, so my stomach felt a little bad, but the nurse took such kind care of me all through the early morning ㅠㅠ I think they cared for me even more attentively because I was the only surgical patient that day haha :) Oh, and the director said I had much less swelling than other people! haha I was discharged safely like that, and around day 3 the swelling did get worseㅠㅠ Looking back now, I really think patience is the answer for swelling. Until about 2-3 weeks after surgery, I think I restricted food and diligently took the medication prescribed by the hospital! As I did that, after one month, two months, and as more time passed, the smooth contour started to show haha My biggest concern, the wide lateral cheekbones, visibly decreased (they reduced them by about 7 mm), the square jaw also turned out well without nerve damage, and my receding chin changed into a slightly pointed line haha (I asked them to make it pointed!) Now, about 6 months after surgery, I’m living very satisfied!
