It’s one of the most famous clinics in Incheon, so I went with high expectations. The wait was short, about 5 minutes, and I liked that I could consult directly with the doctor without a consultation fee. They recommended incisional surgery, and when I said I wanted an epicanthoplasty, they looked at me and said it was possible. I asked about ptosis correction, and they said my eye-opening strength wasn’t that good, but because there wasn’t enough excess eyelid skin, I sleep with my eyes slightly open, and if I do ptosis correction, my eyes may close even less and become drier. So I finally decided on incisional double eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty. The doctor was honest and also considered function, and there was no excessive recommendation or pressure to book. That said, they didn’t give me a clear alternative about the part I was worried about, and instead left the decision to me, so I’m going to think about whether to have the surgery a bit more.
