I waited a little, but it was nice that I could have a consultation with the director I wanted. At other clinics, they took eye photos before the consultation and things like that, but there was none of that here, and the space was somewhat small. The consultant is incredibly persuasive. But when I said I had also booked another clinic, she seemed a bit wary of that clinic. I liked the line the director held for me, but it felt a bit like the consultant was diagnosing things that the director should have diagnosed. For the eye surgery itself, it felt like they were trying to match the patient’s opinion. They didn’t say things like “don’t do this”; they said it was my choice.
