Before before before <Before surgery> after after after after <After surgery> My natural nose was small and had a slightly upturned-nose? feeling, so I got rhinoplasty. For me, looking into clinics was relatively easy, and my satisfaction is high, so I wrote this as a reference for everyone wondering whether they absolutely have to go natural because of a short nose! (Since this inevitably includes my subjective views, please just use it as a reference and make your decision after going to consultations yourself.)
When I first thought about surgery, I simply thought, I wish my nose were a bit longer~ That was how I started looking into it, but after seeing clinic reviews, rather than places that make it look too natural, clinics that create a glamorous and slim nose design suited my taste more. So I went to consultations mainly at places known for glamorous noses, and at one clinic, the director designed my nose in a way I really liked, so I decided on that place!! Honestly, it’s not like I hadn’t heard things like, since it’s your first surgery, you need to look carefully ㅡ.ㅡ, but the clinic itself was already well known, it was hard to make an appointment when I went.. haha, and seeing so many people there, I thought: a clinic many people go to for revision surgery = good at difficult surgeries = good at first-time rhinoplasty I think that’s what led me to decide on surgery.
The director also acknowledged that my nose was a short nose haha, so I got that corrected, and the nasal materials used were silicone, septal cartilage, and donated costal cartilage! Honestly, wherever I went, I was told costal cartilage would be necessary.. hehe.. At this clinic, the director explained costal cartilage thoroughly and said that using the material I wanted was the path to success, and I think what I liked most was that they actively listened to my opinion and helped me choose the material.
And my after-surgery photos are from the 6-month mark, you know? Until then, I also had to recover, so I couldn’t really think about posting a review anywhere, but around 3 months? there wasn’t any major swelling that stood out, and I thought it looked slim enough~ and turned out well, so I’m posting 6-month photos and writing this up. (I’m almost at 8 months now~) Since the surgery, I’ve become more confident taking photos, and my friends say the nose design suits me well, so I’m feeling proud.. Everyone, if you have a clear design you want, definitely go consult with a veteran director. They can explain various surgical methods, and you can hear the explanation without pressure, so I recommend going to several consultations~
