I had surgery three years ago through a friend's recommendation. I had epicanthoplasty and double eyelid surgery, aiming for a subtle inner double eyelid look for a man. During the consultation, they explained things well while marking the line. Post-op care was also fairly thorough. Right after surgery up to about 6 months, the line was visible, but from then until now it has been almost an inner double eyelid, with only a slight bit visible at the outer corner. People I met after the surgery could not tell I had it done, so it became very natural.
