Helloooo I brought a 1-month review after 2 types of facial contouring: square jaw and chin surgery! The reason I decided to have surgery was that I had always been concerned that my face looked broad and puffy ㅠㅠ Ever since high school, I really wanted to get facial contouring once I became an adult, so I looked into clinics, but since it is such a major surgery, choosing a clinic was not easy ㅠ ㅠ Personally, when choosing a clinic, I tend to look for a private clinic with one specialist doctor who focuses on one type of surgery, aftercare, and things like that, and that was exactly what YoonGwakui Jeonseok was like haha So I made an appointment right away and went for a consultation. The consultation manager was very friendly and kind, like an older sister, and when I consulted with Director Oh Jung-seok, there was really no pressure. He actually said he recommended doing only one area. Originally, I wanted cheekbones! I absolutely wanted to destroy my cheekbones, but he said doing the cheekbones would not make much difference and only recommended square jaw resection. Since I said I wanted a slimmer face, I also did the chin, and I am already satisfied haha Before surgery, I asked them to leave the mandibular angle under the ear, and I was so nervous in case I ended up with an overly V-shaped jaw... After surgery, they took a CT scan right away and showed me to confirm it, anyway it was the best haha
On the day of surgery, I was worried it would hurt a lot, but I just felt very nauseous and dizzy. On postoperative days 1, 2, and 3, my face felt tight and firm, and it was uncomfortable because I could not sleep comfortably. I did not notice any bruising or pain at all. But not being able to eat and not being able to brush my teeth was seriously absolute torture ㅠㅠ Especially not being able to eat haha And for alcohol for one week, I did not get any bruises at all, just a little swollen..? The clinic said I could swell a lot from day 2, but for me, not really...? The swelling gradually moved downward, so I looked a bit like a hamster. But I used the hot/cold pack the clinic gave me well and also wore the compression band diligently haha
I am so satisfied now, and honestly I think worrying only delays the surgery!! I am really looking forward to seeing how it changes as more swelling goes down
