Hello~ I’ve always had a long nose with a slight hump, and especially because my columella drooped, my nose would look like an arrow-shaped nose when I smiled, which was extremely stressful for me ㅠㅠ But I’d heard that nose surgery has a very high possibility of revision surgery, and I was also a bit scared of having surgery, so I kept hesitating! Then I had 3 clinics recommended by a doctor acquaintance, so I thought, let’s at least go for consultations! After the consultations, I finally decided on a clinic. First, I excluded clinics that are often seen on cafes or the internet.. They somehow felt factory-like, and there were so many patients that I felt surgery or aftercare might be difficult.. The places my doctor acquaintance recommended were supposedly places that many doctors themselves go to, and clinics recognized by plastic surgeons, so I trusted them, but there weren’t that many reviews, and more than anything, the clinic doesn’t really promote itself much, so I was a bit scared! Still, I joined a community, carefully compared the ratings, had consultations, and decided on the place I trusted a little more!!
I didn’t get greedy, left the hump as it was, and only raised the nasal tip without an implant! So the line isn’t a perfectly smooth straight-to-slightly-curved profile like those who had silicone or hump osteotomy! But I’m so, so satisfied that my complex is gone! After removing the splint, the director looked at my nose and said the bridge was a little disappointing.. butㅋㅋㅋㅋ I think it was such a good choice not to use silicone. I’m posting this for people with a nose that feels similar to mine to refer to. These are still photos from day 6, so there’s still a lot of swelling and it feels more lifted, so it will gradually come down, but I’m so happy that I’ve gained confidence in my side profile, which used to be my complex haha
