Double jaw surgery and facial contouring pin removal I went to a university hospital and ㄷㅍㅇㅅㅊㄱ. Neither was the hospital where I had my surgery. At the university hospital, they said the cheekbone pins would probably be difficult to remove, so they suggested removing only the pins from the double jaw surgery and chin tip, and smoothing out the slightly uneven area on the chin tip.
At ㄷㅍㅇㅅㅊㄱ, first they showed me many case photos of pin removal from other hospitals, and said they might be able to remove even all the cheekbone pins. When I said the left side of my chin tip was uneven, they said it was close to the nerve line, so they didn’t think it was necessarily needed, but it could be done. Visually, there probably wouldn’t be a difference.
That’s how the consultations went. I do think the university hospital would be safer, but at the private clinic I could schedule the surgery sooner, so I don’t know which one to choose.
