I also had severe nasal congestion and could only breathe through one side, so I had it done at a nose-specialized clinic that also performs functional surgery! My nasal tip was lifted with septal cartilage and ear cartilage, and I had surgery for a deviated septum at the same time. The clinic atmosphere was comfortable, and the director and consultant were so kind that even though it was my first surgery, I think I was able to go through it relatively comfortably~.~ Also, the nose surgery itself didn’t hurt, but from days 1 to 3, when I had cotton packed in my nose, breathing was so hard that the worst part was not being able to sleepㅠㅠ
I had the splint removed yesterday, and my whole face is soooo swollen (especially between the eyebrows and the philtrum..ㅠㅠ), and the yellow bruising is bad too, so I still can’t really tell what my nose line looks like.. My nose also looks slightly upturned, but.. the doctor said this part will naturally come down once the swelling goes down, so I think all I can do is trust him and wait!!! I want the swelling to go down quickly so I can see it!ㅠㅠ I should go on more walks and drink pumpkin juice more diligently tooㅠㅠ I’ll post again once the swelling goes down a bit!
