Before-before-after <after surgery> after <after surgery> after <after surgery> I always wanted to write a review someday, but during months 1~2, I was busy checking on my nose and didn’t have time to write one, so I’m finally writing it now haha After deciding to get nose surgery, I started diligently going around for consultations from August~September. At first it was so hot and exhausting, but since I found a clinic that fit me perfectly and even got the surgery, looking back now I feel kind of proud for no reason~
My nasal tip was blunt and my hooked nose was severe. When I went to nose consultations, some places said I should get an osteotomy, and others said that even if I got an osteotomy, I wouldn’t see results unless I raised the nasal bridge a lot, so I got worried. I was wondering, what would be right for me without being excessive? At the last place I went for a consultation, they recommended only the surgeries I really needed, and honestly told me that doing unnecessary things wouldn’t make much of a difference. And the director designed a nose that suited my facial features well and explained everything clearly! Rather than raising it dramatically and making it look too flashy, I raised the nasal bridge enough so my eyes wouldn’t look close-set, and while removing the hump, I raised the nasal tip using ear cartilage, septal cartilage, and donated costal cartilage!
But even though I didn’t get silicone inserted, isn’t the line from my nasal bridge to the tip clean and pretty? One clinic definitely scared me by saying there would be no effect if I didn’t use silicone ㅡ.ㅡ But the director here actually said that since I already had some nasal bridge height, removing the hump and raising the tip would look prettier. I really think I did well to have the surgery the way the director said, and I liked that I trusted them more because they gave such careful consultations from start to finish. For everyone who’s stressed because of their nose shape like me, I recommend at least going for a consultation ㅠㅠ
Using silicone definitely isn’t mandatory, so I recommend finding a clinic that doesn’t over-treat, like I did~!
