Has anyone here had surgery using autologous rib cartilage, whether it was revision surgery or their first surgery? When did you start scar care and what did you do?? I’m going back soon to check on my post-op progress, and I was curious so I messaged them on KakaoTalk in advance. They said they’d do scar laser treatment. If I get this, will the autologous rib cartilage scar improve?? And is it normal for other hospitals too to start autologous rib cartilage scar care from one month after surgery?? DI said they start care after one month, so that’s normal, right? I thought revision surgery would be easy, but nothing is easyㅠ

오오헤헹 Treatment schedules differ by hospital, so ask your hospital. It seems DI also gives separate management for autologous costal cartilage treatment.

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
