Before/after My nose had been a complex of mine for a long time, so I really did a lot of searching online and going around to consultations. (You can tell just by looking at my post history...) Last summer, I finally worked up the courage to do it, but I got scared, canceled, and ended up not doing it.
I have a short nose / hump nose. The materials the doctors mentioned were always the same. Silicone + ear cartilage + septal cartilage + autologous costal cartilage (or donated rib cartilage)
I know the advantages of septal extension too, but I think I had a strong fear of the side effect of collapse if the medical team lacked experience.
When I had almost given up, an acquaintance had nose surgery, and while looking into that clinic, I also learned about a method called reverse-rotation extension. When I went for a consultation, they said silicone and ear cartilage alone would be enough, so I booked right away.
As for the surgery review, I had no pain at all. My arm is hard to find veins in, but I would like to thank the medical staff(?) member who somehow found one well and placed the IVㅜㅜ
People who had nose surgery said the ear hurts more, but my ear did not hurt at all either. I had no swelling either. (Is it my constitution...?) Above all, the biggest advantage at the clinic was that they did not block the nose. I could breathe well through my nose until the splint was removed haha
On the first day, I kept sneezing so much that I deliberately breathed through my mouth instead of my nose, but they told me to breathe through my nose because otherwise the inside of the nose could get blocked by tissue? swelling?
Anyway, I experienced a huge change with ear cartilage alone. I thought my mouth was protruding, but it turned out my nose was low.
