Review after alar reduction surgery (1 month)

Before before after after This is a surgery review.

It was my first cosmetic surgery, and especially because I had heard that alar reduction leaves a lot of scarringㅠㅠ I kept putting it off every time, then finally made up my mind and decided that even if it was expensive, I would definitely go somewhere famous and subtle.

After looking at all the review photos, I could see that it was the natural look I wanted and that it looked completely unnoticeable, so I chose this place.

1. Consultation -First of all, the consultant kindly explains everything you're curious about. Rather than recommending absolutely every surgery (there were quite a lot of surgery types;), they honestly explained only the essential things suited to my nose. The director was a bit chic..;.. But I'm someone who cares about results, so I didn't worry too much about friendliness. -On top of alar reduction (the hospital's name for it was really complicated, so I don't remember well), I added 600,000 won more and added a procedure/surgery that inserts threads into the nasal tip to make the alae look a little sharper.

2. Surgery -It ended in 30-40 minutes. Since it was my first time touching my face, I was very worried. The director first drew a design(?) on my nose, and I thought it was very detailed. After reducing one side of the alar area and stitching it, they showed me the result, and when I compared it with the other side, it definitely had shrunk a lot;.. The reduced size itself wasn't huge, but I liked it because I thought even a small touch can make a difference.

3. Immediately after surgery -I went to the pharmacy to pick up medicine, and when I said I had just had surgery, the pharmacist said it really didn't show haha and found it fascinating -After getting it done, honestly, you can't feel a huge difference. And first of all, my nose was so tight and swollen that I was busy enduring the pain and didn't have time to look

4. Recovery process -It hurt.. Every time I moved my mouth, my nose hurt, and the Scultra (thread) inside my nose kept getting touched, so even a slight brush hurt.. -I think this pain lasted about one or two months, and it was so hard because I couldn't blow my nose properly -But it was so unnoticeable that I had surgery on Friday and went to work on Monday, and no one knew

5. Results -Very satisfied.. First of all, I like that it doesn't show (No one noticed.. Is that a good thing..?) -Every time I looked in the mirror, the parts that always stood out and bothered me disappeared, and as the alae became smaller, my impression became cleaner -I think that's about the effect alar reduction surgery gives -Whether because of the additional procedure? surgery? I added as an extra to gather the alae, the nasal tip feels slightly gathered, has a glossy feel, and the nose feels higher (a feeling I've experienced for the first time). But because of the threads, it hurt whenever they brushed against anything, and as time passed, it felt like it weakened a bit. Since it was my first surgery, I splurged because I wanted to do all the good things, but I don't feel it's absolutely necessary
