Since it’s my first surgery after thinking about it for 10 years, I went to consultations with a lot of YouTube knowledge! For factory-style clinics, I felt I could gauge them to some extent through reviews, so going to more than two or three places didn’t seem meaningful. And since I don’t want relatively major surgeries like incision or ptosis correction, I judged that doing it at a factory-style clinic rather than a single-doctor clinic would be enough. My first screening criterion was to skip clinics with lots of ptosis correction reviews, so I only went around to ㄸㅋ and ㅇㅁㄹ. To give the conclusion first, both clinics recommended non-incisional double eyelid surgery + upper canthoplasty, so I decided to do that. Both did not recommend incision because it’s my first surgery. ㄸㅋ (ㅎㅅㅇ) The clinic was clean, the staff were kind, there were many foreigners, and I don’t know if it was just the day I went, but overall the patients seemed mostly mid-20s or older (a plus point) The consultant was kind, but she didn’t particularly recommend anything or talk in depth, and said the director will explain it to you~ I thought if someone has a firm idea of what they want, this kind of style could be okay too. After the consultant consultation, I waited about 30 minutes, but the chair was comfortable so it was manageable But I was flustered because the director looked so young;; He checked my forehead and explained how asymmetry can happen because of the strength when opening the eyes, so that part was good. But.. he seemed a little inexperienced at holding the line The higher he set it, the more I felt like, huh..? But strangely, the actual surgery reviews were pretty good, so I thought maybe that’s just how it is. The quote was 1.3 million won after doing the same event everyone does. ㅇㅁㄹ (ㄱㅎㅈ) I booked this place a little late, so I couldn’t get the head director and designated someone else, but the waiting time was insane As soon as they checked me in, the counter told me it could be up to 3 hours. It actually took two and a half hours until I left the clinic All the kids getting surgery were middle and high schoolers.. I felt like I was the only old person there.. Also, it didn’t look good that the counter staff were having power struggles with guardians and saying bad things when they couldn’t reach guardians I’m an adult so it didn’t matter for me, but I hope middle and high schoolers think carefully before going. The consultant was kind and the consultation was reasonable. She asked me a lot of questions first, so I was able to explain what I wanted well. The director I met after waiting a whole hour and a half.. held the line so well that I completely forgot the wait. The whole time he was holding the line, I thought, ‘This person is a pro’.. He also explained in detail why upper canthoplasty was necessary and the recovery period, so I was convinced. Here too, after doing the same event everyone does, I got a quote of 1.4 million won. Conclusion is I’m planning to do it at ㅇㅁㄹ.. haha There seem to be a lot of bad reviews about aftercare and staff attitude, but I can turn a blind eye to the attitude to some extent, so I decided based on the director’s skill and the consultant’s style.
