We had consultations, and as my mom got older, her multiple double eyelid folds became more severe, so she had a non-incisional buried suture procedure 7 years ago (even though buried suture wasn’t really right for her, but at the time my mom didn’t look into it much.. ㅠ)
So I think she’ll need ptosis correction + fat grafting to the upper eyelids + incisional surgery. I’m debating between two clinics..
Clinic A is a large hospital, and it seems like the head director has done a lot of cases, from younger patients to cases like my mom’s. But since it’s a big hospital, I did feel like the consultation with the director was a bit short?.. Still, they were honest and said my mom’s case is difficult, and even if they do it, there could be 1-2 revision surgeries (if the fat adhesion doesn’t go well).
Clinic B is a private clinic and specializes in middle-aged patients, so it seems like they’ve handled a lot of people around my mom’s age. Since it’s a private clinic, it feels trustworthy,, and they had a lot of cases like my mom’s too,,!! They said that after 2 months, they’d check how the fat adhesion is going and do a grafting retouch as a service if revision is needed.
The directors at both clinics seem very meticulous, Clinic B is 500,000 won more expensive, and it seems like the doctor at Clinic A has a bit more experience.
Which one would be better?? I’m so torn,,
