Before-before <before nose surgery> after-after-after <1 month after nose surgery> I’m originally the type to look into all sorts of things, and even though this was my first surgery, I thought that if I was going to do it properly, even if I couldn’t know everything about the surgery, I should at least know a certain amount before getting it. I went ahead thinking in terms of the worst-case scenario. Since I heard there are many nose revision surgeries too, I checked revision cases, and I checked cases with noses similar to mine and cases similar to the direction I wanted. I carefully researched 10 clinics online, chose from those and visited 5, and had surgery at the clinic I liked the most in terms of reviews, cases, style, and so on.
What was difficult while scheduling consultations and the surgery date was that all the clinics were different, and their locations were separate too, so going back and forth was a bit tiring.
In my case, I had wide nostril wings, a protruding hump, and a slightly low nose, and what I wanted surgery for was nostril wing reduction, hump correction, and an overall slim-looking nasal line. The clinic I chose showed those kinds of surgical cases the best, so I ended up choosing it.
I started looking into it from summer, scheduled the surgery in fall, and had surgery in mid-November. I had nostril wing reduction, hump correction, nasal bridge surgery, and nasal tip surgery, and since the line I wanted is coming out, I think it was a good choice. For swelling, I bought and drank corn silk tea and pumpkin juice, but since it was my first surgery, I’m not sure whether they had a major effect, and I still have some swelling. It was done according to my needs and I’m satisfied with the result, so I think I did a good job researching.
Everyone, regarding the area you’re planning to have surgery on, don’t just go to consultations roughly and get surgery. I think it would be good to compare several places and look at case results of surgeries with noses most similar to your own.
