My first surgery was buried-suture double eyelid surgery in 2019, and it came undone I don’t like factory-style clinics I only went to hospitals famous for revision surgery I left out the exact diagnosis and prices, but if you’re curious, leave a comment and I’ll let you know~!
1. Kim H-S -Location: Sinsa Station -Consultation: Waited 15-30 minutes. The consultant was kind and explained a lot of things The director looked busy, but that didn’t mean the consultation was careless They generally design the line naturally and almost don’t go toward semi-out to out-fold lines Since it’s revision surgery, they recommended an incisional method. For canthoplasty, medial epicanthoplasty to remove the Mongolian fold is okay But they didn’t seem to like doing it excessively I felt there was no overtreatment. Instead, they generally aim for a very natural result, so if the design doesn’t match what you want, it might be difficult -Diagnosis: Incisional revision surgery + medial epicanthoplasty -AS: 3 years -Best part: No pressure to book
2. Oll -Location: Apgujeong Station -Consultation: Waited 10 minutes. The consultant was kind and explained things comfortably so I could relax Overall, I talked more at length about surgical details with the director They first checked my eye structure, had me close and open my eyes several times while designing the line, and assessed my skin condition Here too, they generally design the line naturally, but I showed photos of female celebrities I wanted (Hani, Irene, etc.) and during the consultation, I felt they were designing a line that suited both the eyes in the photos and my own eyes Incisional revision surgery. Recommended doing medial epicanthoplasty together (they said my eyelid skin was stretched, so the sagging skin needs to be removed) They also explained that after surgery they provide detailed aftercare, such as scar laser treatment CCTV viewing available -Diagnosis: Incisional revision surgery + medial epicanthoplasty -AS: 3 years -Best part: The director’s consultation was long and thorough. They explained aftercare in detail
3. Ja E-J-E -Location: Sinsa Station -Consultation: Waited 5 minutes. The consultant wasn’t the type to ask too many questions. They just listened to exactly what I wanted For choosing non-incisional vs. incisional, the director first tested the line on my eyes and said I have fairly good retention, so non-incisional would be okay, but I would need fat removal Because I have some ptosis, they also recommended eye shape correction together (this part was explained too briefly ㅜㅜ so I think I need to ask again) But I felt they were generally vague about the price They said they could give a bigger discount if I booked that day, but when I said I wanted to think more, they said they’d tell me again when they contacted me.. It wasn’t forceful pressure, but it subtly felt like they were encouraging me to book.. CCTV viewing available -Diagnosis: Non-incisional + medial epicanthoplasty + fat removal + eye shape correction -AS: 1 year -Best part: There was no wait.
Even though it’s eye surgery, there are hospitals that provide good aftercare, and when I asked about CCTV, one hospital said of course they would show it, which made them feel trustworthy (Oll) All three places said the same thing about medial epicanthoplasty, so I definitely plan to do it, yep Since it’s revision surgery, I feel like non-incisional might come undone, so I think I’ll do incisional If I go to more consultations, I’ll post an additional review
