Eye Re-Surgery@eye-redo

If the clinic tells you not to do it, don’t do it!

Before<before>AfterI originally had in-out double eyelids, and when seen in person, I liked them and they were pretty eyes. But in photos they looked too stuffy, and I wanted to make them into a thin outline, so I decided on surgery. They looked fine in person, but whenever I took photos, because of my upturned outer corners, I also decided on lateral canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty, and I worked hard going around to eye consultations with a friend who was going to have surgery with me.

Every plastic surgery clinic I visited refused, asking why I wanted surgery. Even at Cookie, they tried to talk me out of it several times, but in the end said they would do it. But they did not do lateral canthoplasty (no space at the back). Now I feel like I spent a lot of money for nothing.ㅠㅠ I thought the double eyelid height would stay the same and the inner corners of my eyes would nicely extend into an outline, but that didn’t happen… Now every time I look at my eyes, they feel so overwhelming that I can’t stand it myself. I should have listened when they told me not to do it. After doing it, coworkers around me had no idea at all, and even a friend I met after a long time was like, “Did you really do something?” even after I told them. My family and friends reacted like, “Why did you even do it?” I think when a clinic tells you not to do it, it’s right not to do it.
