Because of a ruptured Sebbin implant, I had implant removal and revision surgery. The inflammation caused by the ruptured implant was so severe that I had a drain in for a week. I had an inframammary incision and Motiva 400 cc implants placed. I asked them to put in the largest implants possible, but the doctor said that if they put in any more, the proportions would not match and it would not look good aesthetically, so they only put in 400. I wanted to go bigger though.... Because it was revision surgery, the estimate came out to 14 million won, and because I had a record of having paid a reservation deposit at ㄴㅂ before, I got a discount of about 1.5 million won.
At ㅂ, they gave me an estimate of 18 million won over the phone. They often hold seminars in the U.S., present papers, and have even written a book, but compared with a Seoul National University PhD plastic surgeon specializing in breasts, I’m not sure why they charge more, or how much better they would be. They quoted 5 million won just for implant removal surgery. Honestly, I found it pretty absurd.
Because breast revision surgery is a difficult operation, did they intentionally quote the price much, much, much, much higher?
At ㅇㄹㄷㅇ ㅇ, I was quoted 4.5 million won for Mentor textured implants, and at ㅂㅈㅅ, I was quoted 8 million won for BellaGel.
Since I suffered a huge loss from having my first surgery at the cheapest hospital, for my second surgery, I wanted to go to the most skilled, famous, and good expensive hospital. I had surgery on the 28th.
I’m recovering now.
